I know it does not affect us grow-ups right now, but we all know children are the future and we can be building up a non-movement society and that brings substantial challenges in health and mental wellbeing.
The charts that we can work on are Active to a Healthy Level since Krav Maga sessions are within the definition of Active to Healthy.
Note here from the study:
(From 2011-15, the percentage of kids 6-12 who were considered active to a healthy level (151+ high-calorie burning sports activities during the year) slowly decreased. The decline was much steeper in 2016, dropping by nearly two percentage points.
And also the impact of making a change:
a) Many times we use class time just for us, so think on bringing one of your kids or nephews or friends of friends to class, and do Krav Maga with them. It is rewarding and soon we can have them for one of their own classes.
